to Holy Rosary!
Hello Everyone,
I am your pastor for Queen
of the Most Holy
Rosary. I
am originally
from Toronto and
I come from a
family of 3
brothers and 2
sisters. I
completed my
Education in
Toronto and was
working as a
civilian with
the OPP until I
decided to go
and prepare for
the priesthood
with the
Missionaries of
the Holy Family,
an international
religious
community that
began in 1895.
I did half of my
preparation at
St. Louis
University in
Missouri and
half here in
Ottawa at St.
Paul University.
I was ordained
in 1977 in my
home parish in
Toronto (Corpus
Christi). Since
then I have been
teaching at a
few High Schools
here in Ottawa,
spent some time
working at the
Rideau Regional
Centre in
Smith's Falls
(now closed) and
have been pastor
at St. Monica,
St. Martin de Porres, St.
Leonard, St.
Basil and now
here with you.
I am hoping we
can all minister
together in many
ways to
encourage Holy
Rosary to maybe
grow a bit and
to be a
welcoming
community to
ALL
God's
People-excluding
none,
in the true
missionary
spirit (Go out
to the whole
world and make
disciples).
For our current
parishioners, we
look forward to
your
participation
and prayers for
Holy Rosary.
For old friends,
visitors or
those new to the
neighbourhood,
you are always
welcome to
attend our
beautiful little
church in the
midst of the
city.
